HCFCs

HCFCs in the oil and gas industry polyurethane were used as blowing agents for foams, damage the ozone layer and contribute to global warming. Although less harmful than CFCs, their use was eliminated from Formulations processes under the Montreal Protocol, prompting the search for more sustainable alternatives.
